South Korea says Korean workers detained in a massive immigration raid at a battery factory at the Southeast Georgia Hyundai plant have been released.

Georgia’s public health departments could deviate from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s once-trusted recommendations on vaccines, according to statements from public health leaders at a meeting this week.  

Judges from the federal 11th Circuit Court of Appeals have reversed a 2024 decision, ruling that Houston County did not discriminate against a transgender sheriff’s deputy when she was denied insurance coverage for gender-affirming surgery.
