Hundreds of demonstrators marched in the rain Saturday from the King Center to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office in Atlanta to protest President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.

Emily Bush attended the rally in honor of her former roommates who returned to Colombia after losing their visas from research funding cuts.

“They, you know, had to turn in a car they were still paying for because they were forced to leave, and in fact, they were scared," she said.

The demonstration, dubbed "Rage against the Regime" was organized by the left-leaning group 50501. It included a list of demands, such as ending the deportation of people without status to third-party countries, limiting situations where immigration enforcement agents can wear masks, and stopping the push to end birthright citizenship.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said that in the first 100 days of the Trump administration, the agency made over 66,000 arrests.
