Molly Swagler, vice president of the Tourism Leadership Council, and Bill Dawers, editor of Hissing Lawns and columnist for the Savannah Morning News, offer up their ideas for fun this weekend in Savannah.

Molly’s picks:

-The Savannah Voice Festival continues this weekend with a number of events this weekend. On Thursday, hear oratorio, liturgical music and inspirational song at Voices in Sacred Song at First Presbyterian Church. Take master classes with composer David Friedman on Friday and legendary baritone Sherrill Milnes on Saturday and Monday. And be sure to catch the festival opera “Carmen,” Sunday at Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church. Find the full schedule and tickets here.

-Enjoy a tasty dinner - and murder - at Odd Lot Improv’s Murder Mystery Dinner at Savannah Coffee Roasters. It’s the choose-your-own-adventure of dinner table mysteries, with your choices deciding the characters and plot. Ticket price includes a three-course meal. Friday, 6:30 p.m.; $40.

-Bring Fido along for some summer fun on River Street at the Dog Days of Summer Festival. The event features a pet photo booth, a costume contest and a pup parade - plus a free yoga class from Dancing Dogs Yoga (for humans only). Friday, 4-10 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; free.

-Pick up tips from one of Savannah’s premiere chefs while supporting a good cause with the Olde Pink House’s cooking class on Saturday. The event benefits Park Place Outreach Youth Emergency Shelter, which provides services to at-risk youth. Olde Pink House chef Sarah Maier runs the class. Saturday, 1-3 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m.; $125, place must be reserved.

Bill’s picks:

-Experience a unique theater event with The Last Five Years at Muse Arts Warehouse. The show features just two performers, telling the story of their characters’ relationship - one forward, one backward. Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m. and Sunday, 3 p.m.; $20 general admission and $15 for students and military.

-Explore the Ogeechee River through photographs with an exhibit opening Friday at Jelinek Creative Spaces on Fahm St. Photographer Stephen Milner began capturing images of the river in 2012, shortly after the largest fish kill in Georgia history. His work tells the story of the river and the people who live along it. Service Brewing will provide beverages, along with music from Heavy Boots. Friday, 6 p.m.; free.

-Rock out to some of Savannah’s best musicians at Savannah Super Friends on Friday at the Jinx. COEDS and The Hypnotics will play, followed by a band known as The Grand Gestures, which is made up of members of The Accomplices, City Hotel, Damon and the Sh--Kickers and Velvet Caravan. Friday, 10 p.m.; $5-10.
