Connect Savannah arts and entertainment editor Anna Chandler and Savannah Tribune vice president Tanya Milton offer up some ways to have fun in Coastal Georgia this weekend.

Anna’s picks:

For music lovers, this weekend is all about the Savannah Stopover Music Festival. Check out the lineup and listen to bands at the festival website and download the app to make your concertgoing plans on the go. Or check out Connect’s breakdown of the bands by genre to find the music that suits your taste.

Be sure to check out the opening night party, featuring Southern Culture on the Skids, and Saturday night’s show from San Fermin, a band Anna describes as “about to blow up.”

Tanya’s picks:

-The ladies of Savannah can enjoy a weekend of fun - complete with some eye candy - at the Southern Women’s Show at the Convention Center. Get makeovers, shop and enjoy some delicious food - and be sure to check out the firemen’s fashion show. Friday-Sunday; $8, $13 for cooking lessons.

-Check out the kick-off of an annual fundraising campaign Saturday with the launch of this year’s Kiss-a-Pig campaign on River Street’s main stage. Area leaders and business groups compete to raise money for diabetes research and treatment. Saturday, 3 p.m.; free.
