Another Friday night has come and gone and the top 10 football rankings have seen more changes.

Class AAAA saw the most alterations after Kell defeated Hiram to knock the Hornets out of the top 10. The Longhorns moved up a spot to No. 4 as a result of their dominant 30-7 win. Griffin dropped from No. 4 to No. 5 despite a blowout win over Alcovy. Meanwhile, Marist, Flowery Branch, Thomas County Central and Chattahoochee all moved up one spot while East Paulding entered the rankings at No. 10 after defeating North Paulding 47-10.

In Class 5A, there was only one change as Newton debuted at No. 10 after an impressive win over Newnan. The Rams replaced idle Grayson.

There were no changes in Class 3A as no ranked teams fell. Class 2A some a few changes as Lovett lost to Buford. The Lions dropped to No. 10 after the loss and were replaced at No. 7 by Westminster, while Fitzgerald moved up one to eighth. Swainsboro, meanwhile, moved into the top 10 at No. 9 as the Tigers outlasted Jefferson County in double overtime.

In the state's smallest classification, Johnson County moved up to No. 8 while Marion County debuted at No. 10.
