There are thousands of Civil War soldiers buried in national cemeteries across the nation labeled as "unknown."

But one soldier who fought and died on a Georgia battlefield never made it to a proper resting place and remained unidentified until only recently.

GPB's Edgar Treiguts tells us about one researcher's singular effort to give a name to the "unknown soldier" of Kennesaw Battlefield.
