Jim Henson's "Wowsabout!" Screening and Nature Activity

Enjoy a free family screening of the Jim Henson Company’s summer special, "Wowsabout!" at the Chattooga Public Library; create a keepsake bookmark with a hands-on leaf-and-seed matching activity led by a park ranger from James H. “Sloppy” Floyd State Park. Families will also have the opportunity to capture their own moment of wonder by writing a postcard to a friend.

"Wowsabout!" is a delightful PBS KIDS special from The Jim Henson Company that follows new friends Roxy and Ronald as they explore the beauty of nature and discover the feeling of awe together. Set among the majestic giant sequoias, the story uses music, friendship, and adventure to inspire curiosity, creativity, kindness, and a deeper appreciation for the world around us.
