East Lake Meadows: A Public Housing Story Preview Screening
Georgia Public Broadcasting: 260 14th St NW, Atlanta GA 30318
Wednesday, March 11, 2020 - 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Thank you for your interest in the screening of East Lake Meadows: A Public Housing Story scheduled to take place at GPB this evening. In light of recent developments in the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and GPB’s efforts to ensure the health and well-being of our building guests and employees, we have made the decision to conduct this screening ONLINE. We will NOT host a live audience in GPB’s studios. Instead, interested viewers may join us online here (https://ovee.itvs.org/screenings/m80h5) at 6:30 PM to view the screening and participate in the panel discussion.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are taking precautionary measures and evaluating the scheduling of GPB events going forward.

COVID-19 is rapidly evolving and all Georgians should follow basic prevention measures:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least twenty seconds.
  • If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

If you have recently traveled to areas where there are ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 and you develop fever with cough and shortness of breath within fourteen days of your travel, or if you have had contact with someone who is suspected to have COVID-19, stay home and call your health care provider or local health department right away. Be sure to call before going to a doctor’s office, emergency room, or urgent care center and tell them about your recent travel and symptoms.
