Georgia Stories is GPB’s legacy history series—reimagined for a new era. This video series brings Georgia’s past to life through dynamic visuals, inclusive storytelling, and standards-aligned lessons, spanning from Indigenous history to present-day. Designed for 8th grade Georgia Studies and beyond, each episode pairs engaging narratives with classroom-ready discussion questions and teaching tips.

The new episodes of Georgia Stories are hosted by three dynamic hosts: Arhley, Tess, and Tony, who guide viewers through Georgia’s complex and compelling history with clarity and energy.

This project was developed with the support of four Georgia teacher consultants, whose expertise helped ensure strong classroom alignment, instructional design, and accessibility for students and educators.

The series was produced by Georgia Public Broadcasting and supplements GPB’s full Georgia Studies digital library which includes: Georgia Studies digital textbook, 30 virtual field trips, and Georgia Race Through Time history adventure game.
