That’s why on May 3rd at 8 p.m. GPB presents American Masters Janis Joplin: Little Girl Blue. Directed by Amy Berg, this biography not only captures the legacy of Joplin’s music, but also explores her private life in a way not many biographies have done before. This work includes never-before-seen footage of Joplin’s performances, and new interviews with her sister Laura Joplin and former bandmates.
