"Alma in Oz: The Musical!"

When Alma’s little brother, Junior, has his tonsils removed, he worries he’ll never be able to roar like a dinosaur again. To comfort him, Alma shares a music-filled story set in the magical land of Oz, where imagination takes center stage. In this vibrant adventure, familiar faces from the Bronx step into new roles. Juniorsaurus becomes a dinosaur searching for his mighty roar, while Alma begins a Dorothy-like journey to find her way home.

Along the way, they meet a cast of friends, including an artist who has lost their inspiration and a character learning how to be a better friend. Together, they set out on a whimsical quest to find the Rubber Band Wizard, hoping he can help them solve their problems. Filled with heart, humor, and catchy songs, "Alma in Oz: The Musical!" celebrates courage, creativity, and the power of friendship.

Alma's Way


"Alma’s Way" is an animated series for kids ages 4-6 from Fred Rogers Productions. Each half-hour episode consists of two 11-minute stories filled with heart, comedy, and the beat of the Bronx.

Created by actor, writer, and TV icon Sonia Manzano (beloved by generations as “Maria” on Sesame Street) and inspired by her own childhood, "Alma’s Way" centers on 6-year-old Alma Rivera, a proud, confident Puerto Rican girl. Alma lives in the Bronx with her family among a diverse group of close-knit friends and community members. Infused with Sonia’s humor and grounded in critical thinking and social-emotional learning, the series will give children the tools to discover the confidence to think for themselves, find their own answers, and recognize and respect the unique perspective of others.
