"City Island USA!"
Learn about exciting places and history across America with "City Island USA!”
A spinoff from the civics-focused series, “City Island”, “City Island: USA!” will feature six 2-minute shorts that blend animation with real live-action locations across the country. The series follows Watt, the little lightbulb with big ideas, and his breezy best friend, Windy the kite, as they soar from City Island into real-life America. Guided by their teacher, Mr. Rubric, the trio visits landmarks in five U.S. regions, highlighting places such as the St. Louis Gateway Arch, the Hoover Dam, and and the Alamo. The landmarks speak for themselves, sharing first-hand accounts of their history and special contributions to the United States.
