After months of regular-season and tournament competition, the finals have been set for the GHSA’s Ralph Swearngin Basketball State Championships to be held Wednesday through Saturday at the Macon Coliseum.

All games will be carried live on GPB-TV and GPB.org.

Boys teams returning to defend their championships are Wheeler (6A), Butler (2A) and Holy Innocents' (Private). Girls teams returning to defend their titles are Grayson (6A), Hardaway (2A), Wilcox County (A Division 2) and Holy Innocents' (Private).

The schedule for championship week will be:

Wednesday

Private: Girls – Hebron Christian vs. Holy Innocents’, 1 p.m. Boys – Darlington vs. Holy Innocents’, 3 p.m. Boys 3-Point Contest: 4:45 p.m. Class 3A: Girls – Sandy Creek vs. Heritage, 5:30 p.m.; Boys – Harlem vs. Cross Creek, 7:30 p.m.

Thursday

Class A Division 2: Girls – Wilcox County vs. Washington-Wilkes, 1 p.m.  Boys - Clinch County vs. Portal, 3 p.m. Girls 3-point contest: 4:45 p.m. Class 4A: Girls – Kell vs. Marist, 5:30 p.m.; Boys – Pace Academy vs. St. Pius, 7:30 p.m.

Friday

Class A Division 1: Girls – Elbert County vs. East Laurens, 1 p.m.  Boys -- Southwest Macon vs. Rabun County, 3 p.m. Coed 3-point contest: 4:45 p.m. Class 5A: Girls – Milton vs. Creekview, 5:30 p.m.; Boys – Woodward Academy vs. Alexander, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday

Class 2A: Girls – Hardaway vs. Murray County, 11 a.m.; Boys – Morgan County vs. Butler, 1 p.m.  Adaptive: 3 p.m. Slam dunk contest: 4:45 p.m. Class 6A: Girls – Grayson vs. North Paulding, 5:30 p.m.; Boys – Pebblebrook vs. Wheeler, 7:30 p.m.

Tickets: Tickets are $20 and good for all sessions. All tickets must be purchased online at GoFan. 

Macon Coliseum has a clear-bag policy for spectators. There is no re-entry and no posters or signs are allowed.
