Addie Spak threw the winning touchdown and ran for the extra point point to help Blessed Trinity defeat Milton in double overtime and win the Division 4 championship on Tuesday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

On third-and-goal from the 3, Spak connected with Hannah Daley for the winning score. Milton had taken the lead on a 5-yard run by Carson McElroy to start the second overtime. But Milton’s passing attempt on the conversion failed.

Both teams scored in the first OT.  Blessed Trinity scored on a 10-yard pass from Spak to Addy Wilson and Milton answered with a 10-yard touchdown pass from Audrey Jensen to Alana Calhoun.

Neither team scored until the fourth quarter. Milton broke the ice with a 23-yard touchdown pass from Jensen to Calhoun, but Blessed Trinity tied the game with a 1-yard run by Maggie Sullivan as time expired.

Blessed Trinity (19-5) was led by Spak. She completed 20 of 34 for 160 yards and two touchdowns, with one interception, and rushed for a team-high 24 yards. Sullivan caught six passes for 21 yards and Adalyn Kramer had five receptions for 38 yards.
