Catherine Cooper threw five touchdowns and North Oconee won its first flag football championship, beating Whitewater 31-6 on Tuesday at Mercedes Benz Stadium. 

North Oconee (23-3) finished the season on a 12-game winning streak. Cooper completed 15 of 25 passes for 229 yards and one interception. She was sacked four times.

Cooper threw a pair of touchdowns to Elizabeth Patterson of 20 and 6 yards, a 24-yard touchdown to Kallie Mashburn, an 8-yard touchdown to Nolyn Herron, and a 39-yard touchdown to Taylor Dillard. 

Patterson had six catches for 52 yards and Dillard caught three balls for 63 yards.

Whitewater (22-4) got its only touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 2-yard pass from Jaelyn Stanley to Emma Morgan. Stanley was 13-for-30 with two interceptions. Morgan had five receptions for 30 yards.
