It’s a Cherokee County bonanza for flag football fans on Thursday’s tripleheader on GPB.org.

The first game features Creekview vs. Sequoyah at 5 p.m., followed by River Ridge vs. Woodstock at 6 p.m., and Etowah vs. Cherokee at 7 p.m.

The games can be seen live on GPB.org and later seen on-demand.

Creekview (9-8) and trying to get back on the winning side. Sequoyah (8-7) has won back-to-back games.

River Ridge (8-7) has won four in a row; the Knights are led by quarterback Reagan Mulligan, who has thrown for 2,021 yards and 22 touchdowns. Woodstock (11-6) is led by receiver Kaydence Edwards.

Etowah (3-8) is coming after a win over Harrison that broke a three-game losing streak. Cherokee (10-9) is trying to end a five-game losing streak. The Warriors are led by Gracie Mayo, who has thrown for 1,629 yards and 26 touchdowns and rushed for 757 yards and two touchdowns.
