There was little drama in the GPB Sports football rankings, as all the No. 1-ranked teams held their position with victories.

Class 6A Grayson, Class 5A Thomas County Central, Class 4A North Oconee, Class 3A Calhoun, Class 2A Carver-Columbus, Class A Division I Toombs County, Class A Division II Lincoln County, and Private Prince Avenue Christian all won the Week 2 games and remain atop their respective classification.

There are several newcomers in this week’s rankings. Central Carroll jumped into the Class 4A at No. 9 and Cambridge slid in at No. 10. Carver-Atlanta moved into the Class 2A rankings at No. 9. In Class A Division II Charlton County entered at No. 7 and Seminole County jumped in at No. 10. There were two newcomers in the Private rankings, with North Cobb Christian at No. 9 and Mount Paran Christian at No. 10.
