No. 1-ranked Colquitt County completed an unbeaten regular season with a 40-6 over Lowndes on Friday.

The victory gives the Packers (10-0) its fourth region title under coach Rush Propst. 

Quarterback Jaycee Hardin led Colquitt County with two quarterback passes and the Colquitt defense kep the Vikings off the board. Lowndes' only score came on an 85-yard Travis Tisdale kickoff return. 

"Too many penalties and too many mistakes," Propst saidi. "You're always happy with winning the game and winning the region, but we're going for greater things."
