CEFGA is on the frontlines in the fight to ensure a skilled pipeline of construction workers is available in Georgia.

I went down to Moultrie, Georgia to check out the first SXSW Georgia Skills Challenge. I spoke with Zach Fields on what CEFGA is doing to fight the skilled workforce gap that many see in the construction sector. Needless to say, CEFGA has a plan of attack.

Fields told me there is enough bandwidth for the construction industry to add 20,000 additional members entering the field each year. The opportunity for young people to find and sustain a lasting career is there for the taking, and CEFGA and other public and private organizations in Georgia want to make sure Georgia kids know about it.
