Mr. Pieter Wiederhold is a Dutch National born on January 19, 1928 in Mala on the island of Java. Mr. Wiederhold describes what was occurring during the war in the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia), Dutch participation and discusses his internment in concentration camp by the Japanese. After the war, Mr. Wiederhold returned to Holland and describes what life was like at that point in time, his move to America and the impact the war had on the rest of his life.
