Writers: Three Women

Writers is an award-winning television series from Mississippi Public Broadcasting. In each episode, three authors join host Gene Edwards for an intimate, roundtable discussion on their craft. “It took me six years to finish my first book,” remembers Ellen Douglas. “I had three kids and I was busy with them.” The singularities of being a serious, Southern, female novelist are points of discussion at the Writers’ roundtable. Suzanne Hudson and Tayari Jones also participate in the conversation.
