Til the River Runs Clear

'Til the River Runs Clear tells the story of America's environmental flagship, the Clearwater, a traditional wooden sloop launched by folk singer Pete Seeger 35 years ago to draw attention to the pollution of the Hudson River. Since that time, the Clearwater has sparked a remarkable grassroots effort aimed at cleaning the Hudson River. The ship still sails today, serving as a moveable classroom, laboratory and stage. 'Til the River Runs Clear weaves scenes of daily life on the sloop and stories about its exciting history with an examination of several pressing environmental issues.
