Downton Abbey Season 3: Sexiest Trailer Ever!

Warning: This Downton Abbey trailer is hot! It contains scenes of Branson and Sybil cuddling in bed, Matthew and Mary kissing and Thomas spying on the new footman as the new guy is changing his clothes. (Gasp!)

And oh yes Mr. Bates is smiling in jail. (Anything he does is sexy of course :)

Downton Abbey Season 3 Spoiler Alert: Cat Fights & Money Problems

Updated January 4, 2013 - Check out this new preview clip and notice the wedding veil at the end!

I can’t wait to see the new season of Downton Abbey. There are so many questions left to be answered. Will they spring poor Mr. Bates out of jail? (Free Mr. Bates!) Will we see a Downton wedding between Lady Mary and Matthew?

Photos from Downton Abbey Screening

Here are some of the photos from the Downton Abbey screening held at GPB on January 5th, 2012.

Maggie Moments

While Maggie Smith is not listed first on the cast of characters for "Downton Abbey", she is probably our favorite cast member. Her talent has been a staple of stage and screen for decades, and she is one of seventeen actors to have won the "triple crown" of acting awards - an Oscar, Tony, and Emmy (one of her Emmy wins was for "Downton Abbey" last year). While many people remember her work in "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie", "A Room With a View", and "California Suite", a new generation grew to love her as Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter movies.

Downton Abbey Cast Share Final Days Of Filming In Photos

The Downton Abbey cast are wrapping up shooting the show and lucky for us they want to share that experience with fans.

Cast members and crew have taken to social media to share photos of their final days filming the show using the hashtags #LastDaysofDownton and #lastdayhighclere.

Michelle Dockery seems to be the most prolific cast photographer and most photographed subject.

Here she is with other members of the Crawley clan headed to Los Angeles for the Television Critics Association press tour.

Mr. Carson Gets His Due With Emmy Nomination

When the Primetime Emmys awards are handed out on September 20, we hope the line “and the winner is Mr. Carson” will be uttered. Actually, the correct line would be “and the winner is Jim Carter” since he plays the supremely humble butler on "Downton Abbey".

Can Poldark And These Other Shows Be The Next Downton Abbey?

Ever since "Downton Abbey" show creators announced in March that the sixth season would be the show’s last, the search for the next Downton has been on. "Poldark" and these other shows may fit the bill.

How The Cast Says Downton Abbey Should End

In a new video, cast members from “Downton Abbey” share how they think the show should end its run. Unlike the dream scenarios offered by fans in my last blog post, the Dowager Countess survives.

Instead Hugh Bonneville, Robert James Collier, Lesley Nicol, Phyllis Logan and Laura Carmichael preferred giving their characters the Hollywood endings they rightly deserved.
