East-central Georgia and the Augusta area are under a Freeze Warning from the National Weather Service through 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
A freeze warning means temperatures below 32 degrees are imminent or highly likely.
Those temperatures could kill sensitive vegetation.
The National Weather Service says people in the Freeze Warning areas should expect freezing temperatures for around three hours.
There's also a freeze watch over Friday night for Candler, Bulloch and Effingham counties.
And lastly for Tattanal, Evans, Long, Liberty, Bryan and Chatham counties, there's a frost advisory in effect tonight as well.
