GPB salutes the achievements of African Americans on-air, online and through film.
Television Membership Campaigns take place in March, June, August and December. Radio Membership Campaigns occur in the Spring and Fall. We schedule individuals and groups Monday-Thursday evenings from approximately 6:30-11:30pm. On the weekends we have shifts from approximately 8am-1pm, 2-7pm and 7-11pm. Please note that these are approximations, and that the actual schedule depends on the pledge programming.

Free parking is available in our parking garage.
All participants must be at least 16 years of age.
Business casual dress is preferred. Shirts with company or group logos are acceptable in any color but white (white clothing logos cause a glare on camera). It can get chilly in the studio, so we recommend bringing a sweater or jacket.
Groups can range in size from 12-25. We ask group coordinators to guarantee a minimum of twelve people per group.
A group of twelve or more will receive on-air mentions during their shift. Your group name
will be read verbally, and your group logo will appear on the screen. We do not display company/group banners on the set.
GPB receives many requests to volunteer from individuals and groups alike. We schedule on
a first-come, first-serve basis, depending on group size and special needs. We make every
effort to update our posted schedule and assign shifts that are most appropriate for each
request. Confirmation and follow-up usually occur three to four weeks in advance of each
drive.
While volunteering at GPB, volunteers receive a complementary meal provided by Carole
Parks Catering Company and beverages provided by The Atlanta Coca-Cola Bottling Company.
