St. Olaf Christmas in Norway

A St. Olaf Christmas in Norway showcases two countries and two choirs, presenting traditional Christmas hymns sung in both Norwegian and English. The program commemorates the 100th anniversary of Norway's independence and the cultural roots of St. Olaf College, founded in 1874 by Norwegian Lutheran immigrants. The performance takes place at Trondheim's Nidaros Cathedral, one of the oldest Gothic churches in the world. Among the featured singers is Norwegian mezzo soprano Randi Stene.
