Region 1-AAAAA is once again a hot place to be for non-region action this weekend. Valdosta will host Robert E. Lee out of Montgomery, Ala., this weekend and should win easily against the 0-4 Generals.

This whole football thing for Central Gwinnett defensive end Francis Kallon is probably starting to be fun. Before he ever stepped onto a football field for an official game, the London, England native had multiple scholarship offers in hand and had pledged to Georgia Tech.

The biggest moves in this week’s poll came in the highest two classifications as Colquitt County fell following a 16-8 loss to Warner Robins and as East Paulding shut out Kell 34-0.

In an interesting South Georgia tilt tonight, Class AAAAA power Lowndes will host Class AAA No. 5 Burke County. The two squads played early last season when the Vikings romped 36-0.
