Human Trafficking and Day Care Workers

The next time you go to a bar or a hotel—you may see a new sign posted. Representatives passed House Bill 141 today, which requires some businesses to post the Human Trafficking hotline. Nearly 375 thousand Georgia children spend time in day care centers and in–home daycare. Yet the majority of day care workers are not required to get a national background check, only a state check. Rahul bali has been looking at new legislation to expand those national checks.
