GREENVILLE

With two state championships in the ‘80’s, Greenville High is significant in Georgia high school football history. It appears that this year could be one of their better seasons in recent years. With an 8 & 0 record and a Top 10 ranking in Class A, the Patriots are on the verge of their best season since 1992. Head Coach Jeremy Williams has his team focusing on success while he fights personal adversity.

LOGANVILLE

Grayson High senior Robert French is a three-sport athlete for the Rams — Football, Swimming and Track & Field. A state qualifier in swimming, French carries a 3.97 GPA, which places him in the top 4% of his graduating class. A UGA merit scholar, French would like to become an orthodontist. We recognize Robert French as this week’s Academic Athlete of the Week.

ELLIJAY

Gilmer High junior Hannah Kelly is a two-sport athlete for the Bobcats — Cross Country and Soccer. Kelly would like to attend college and major in Special Education. Currently, Kelly has a 4.0 GPA, ranking her first in her junior class and is well on her way to accomplishing her academic goals. We recognize Hannah Kelly as this week’s Academic Athlete of the Week.
