March Crop: Honey

There are few things as sweet as honey, and Georgia honey is some of the best! Here in our state, we are lucky to have a strong beekeeping tradition; our bees and beekeepers produce a wide variety of different honeys including thistle, cotton blossom, tupelo, sourwood, tulip poplar, clover and wildflower. Known as nature’s natural sweetener, honey can be added to many different foods and beverages (some say it helps cure sore throats and even allergies).
