Earlier this year the future of the Atlanta New Year’s Eve Peach Drop was uncertain after the Atlanta Underground was acquired for redevelopment. The mayor’s office now says it’s back on, so we hit the streets to gather Atlantans’ fuzzy memories of the event over the years. And he’s known as “The New Mr. Las Vegas” but comedian George Wallace is a self-described “Georgia boy,” born and raised in Atlanta.
