Immigration Reform

In our final Prime Time Politics before the holidays, host Scott Slade is joined by Tom Crawford of The Georgia Report, Jim Galloway of the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Rodrigo Cervantes of MundoHispanico and Errin Haines of the Associated Press. The "Prime Topic" is Immigration Reform. We’ll take a look back at the Board of Regents October 13 vote and the first meeting of the Special Joint Committee on Immigration Reform. The panel will discuss changes in Georgia's Colleges and Universities and expected legislation in the 2011 session. The Budget, Economy and Taxes are the subject of our “Legislative Preview”. Also “On the Radar” are the Kenerly indictment review committee, changes in the Democratic Leadership under the gold dome and the pending runoff for judicial races on November 30.

The opinions expressed are those of the panelists appearing on today’s program and not necessarily those of Georgia Public Broadcasting.
