Authorities say construction on what will be Georgia's newest state park at Lake Lanier has been delayed. Georgia Department of Natural Resources officials tell The Times of Gainesville that construction on Don Carter State Park may not begin until 2012. Construction was originally set to begin in November and end in spring 2013.
