A federal judge has sentenced the founder of a food ministry service and his son to seven years in federal prison. Officials say Angel Food Ministries founder Wesley Joseph Wingo and his son, Andrew, were sentenced on money laundering and conspiracy charges Thursday in U.S. District Court.
A judge has sentenced the Georgia woman convicted of lying to investigators about the shooting death of her husband outside a preschool to spend the next four years in prison. The judge handed down a five-year sentence for Andrea Sneiderman on Tuesday. However, the judge said Sneiderman will get credit for time she's served.
A former south Georgia television station owner has been sentenced to 1,000 years in prison on child sexual exploitation charges. Peter Mallory was charged with 60 counts of sexual exploitation of children, invasion of privacy and tampering with evidence.
