Media watchdogs are taking aim at federal regulations allowing TV stations like six in Georgia to share news operations while keeping separate ownership. The FCC is reviewing the rules. Craig Aaron of the Washington, D.C. based Free Press says, the stations share news so they can cut reporters, resulting in less service to communities.
