The Georgia Department of Natural Resources has launched a mobile app to help outdoors enthusiasts. The app — called the Official Georgia Fishing, Hunting and Wildlife Guide — launched earlier this month.

Mobile app development and the jobs it supports contribute more than a billion dollars to Georgia’s economy, according to a new analysis. The wireless industry trade group CTIA commissioned the study of the “app economy” and its impact on states.
