Fulton Jail Installs New Locks
Fulton County corrections officials say they're preparing to move some inmates into cells with new locks. County corrections spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan says new cell locks have been installed on the fifth floor of the jail, and inmates will begin moving into their new cells Thursday morning.

Court Dismisses 1,800 For Police No-Shows
Records show that at least 1,800 criminal cases have been dismissed in a metro Atlanta county court since 2010 because police officers failed to show up in court despite being subpoenaed to testify. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported the findings after its investigation of Fulton County Magistrate Court.
