Construction is under way on a farm equipment company's distribution center in central Georgia. Tractor Supply Co. executives have said the 650,000 square-foot distribution center in Macon will employ more than 200 workers.
Government records indicate that a mystery company is planning to build a distribution center that would be one of the largest in central Georgia. The company known only as "Project Circle" plans to build a 960,000-square-foot building in the I-75 Business Park in Bibb County.
The Lowe's chain of home improvement stores is bringing a new distribution center to northwest Georgia. Governor Nathan Deal attended the groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday morning in Rome. The facility is expected to eventually create 600 new jobs for the area.
