No Drought Relief From Storm
Tropical storm Lee drenched a small part of the northwest corner of the state causing dozens to evacuate their homes. But the scant rain in the rest of the state relieved very little of the drought.

Drought Returns To Parts Of Ga.
Due partly to higher temperatures parts of the state have slipped back into drought. With temperatures remaining in the 90s and low 100s with little or no rain, soils statewide will continue to dry.
