The US Supreme Court is keeping alive an international custody case involving a Georgia-based solider. Justices ruled Tuesday that Ft. Stewart-based Sgt. Jeffrey Chafin can continue his legal battle for his five year old daughter. The child has lived in Scotland with Chafin's estranged Scottish wife ever since a lower court ruled that US courts have no say in the case.
