    Election Board Scolds Fulton
    Georgia elections officials have scolded the state's most populous county for issues during the 2010 gubernatorial election. The State Election Board Tuesday sanctioned Fulton County for twice mailing 226 people incorrect absentee ballots, and for hand-delivering an absentee ballot to a man who complained he didn't get one.

    Qualifying For Elections Begins
    Candidates across Georgia will descend on the state Capitol and local election offices starting Wednesday to declare themselves for local, state and Congressional races. When the qualifying period closes on Friday, campaigning will begin in earnest for the July 31st primary.
