    Juvenile Facility Principal Fired
    The Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice commissioner has fired the principal of the school at the juvenile detention center in Augusta. Brenda James-Ford's firing Thursday comes on the heels of the dismissal of a correctional lieutenant at the Augusta Youth Development Campus and the suspension with pay of the facility's interim director on Wednesday.

    Juvenile Facility Director Suspended
    The interim director of a juvenile detention facility in Augusta has been suspended with pay, just days after the director submitted his resignation. A Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice spokesman said the suspension is due to a pending Juvenile Justice investigation at the facility, but details weren't released.
