Mobile app development and the jobs it supports contribute more than a billion dollars to Georgia’s economy, according to a new analysis. The wireless industry trade group CTIA commissioned the study of the “app economy” and its impact on states.
State officials have developed a new smartphone application designed to cut down on drunken driving during this weekend’s New Year's Eve celebrations. The app, Drive Sober Georgia, is available on the iPhone and Android markets.
