Add Savannah to the list of U.S. airports using body scanning technology to screen passengers. The Transportation Security Administration will hold a news conference Wednesday at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport to discuss the new body scanners, which were installed in the past week.

U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.) is asking the Transportation Security Administration to investigate an alleged security breach at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The request came in response to a recent investigative report by WSB-TV exposing a potential security gap in the airport's catering operation.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is one of three test sites for new software for the full-body scanners that produces a generic male or female outline rather than a graphic image of individual travelers. The Transportation Security Administration developed the software to address privacy concerns about the scanners.

Today is one of the busiest travel days at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. With 1.7 million travelers expected there this week it is still the busiest airport in the world.
