In the Class AAA boys state title game, Columbia pulled away from Butler in the fourth quarter to win their second consecutive championship by a score of 56-37.

    The Douglas County Lady Tigers were on a roll coming into the Class AAAA semifinals, winning 30 consecutive games including a big win against Miller Grove in the semifinals. However, Forest Park had too much experience and came away with a 56-47 victory.
