Former Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin has been hospitalized at Habersham Medical Center in north Georgia after a car accident. Londa Irvin Wilson, the commissioner's daughter, said Wednesday her 81-year-old father was making good progress since the accident last Thursday.

He told Rickey Bevington about the importance of his political experience, as well as why Georgia’s next Agriculture Commissioner should be a farmer.

Kevin Cherry is a Certified Pest Control Operator and a Libertarian seeking to replace Tommy Irvin, who has held the seat for 42 years.
