Gov. Nathan Deal has announced 11 new winners of money from the state's Race to the Top federal grant. Deal launched the $19 million Innovation Fund competition after Georgia won $400 million last year from the U.S. Department of Education. The money is aimed at schools and programs that focus on STEM subjects — or science, mathematics, engineering and technology.
