A spokesman for the Georgia Board of Regents says the board has not approved any renovation work done at the president's home at Georgia Regents University in several years. But a variety of renovations completed since June 2010 amount to about $284,000.
A new publications policy has been implemented at Georgia Regents University following a controversy over altered photos of student athletes. University President Ricardo Azziz issued a statement taking responsibility for the photos, saying the alterations showed insensitivity to the history of the two schools that merged to create GRU.
