Two high-ranking officials at the state Agriculture Department resigned after being accused of holding a drunken party that ended in skinny dipping with a female employee. The employees were at Lake Blackshear in south Georgia for training.

Two high-ranking officials have resigned at Georgia's Department of Agriculture. Chief Operating Officer Billy Skaggs and the director of the food safety division, Oscar Garrison, both resigned on March 30.

Lawrence "Rocky" Ford submitted his resignation on Tuesday. Documents filed by the Judicial Qualifications Commission said it began investigating Ford after it received complaints that the judge failed to follow appropriate criminal procedure.

A North Georgia judge is resigning amid an ethics investigation into whether she improperly sought to help a man who was convicted of methamphetamine trafficking.An order posted Tuesday by the Judicial Qualifications Commission says Enotah Superior Court Judge Lynn Alderman will resign on Friday.
