    Macon Re-elects Mayor Reichert
    Mayor Robert Reichert ran against former Mayor Jack Ellis. Race came down to just over 500 votes. New State Senator elected as well.

    Macon Mayoral Race Heads To Runoff
    Current Mayor Robert Reichert will face former Mayor Jack Ellis on August 16th. Reichert got 48-percent of the vote while Ellis got 38-percent. The other candidates in the race were former State Senator Robert Brown and newcomer Paul Bronson.
